I started our family candle business to turn discarded wax into something beautiful — keeping it out of landfills and giving it new life. But this mission is about more than sustainability.
My husband is blind and no longer able to work traditional jobs. Opportunities for the visually impaired are limited, and too often people like him are overlooked.
So I decided to build something different.
We’re raising funds to purchase adaptive equipment that will allow us to create meaningful, hands-on employment for my husband and other visually impaired individuals — giving purpose, dignity, and real opportunity.
This isn’t just about candles.
It’s about inclusion.
It’s about family.
It’s about proving that disability does not mean inability.
